Hi, I'm Chris, - Thanks for taking a moment to read this, let me introduce myself! Ill try to keep it short..

I still remember when Santa would ride around door to door on the back of the fire trucks, ahh, the good old days. My mother grew up in Calgary and my father on a farm just outside of town, where his family provided chickens and eggs to the community for many years before eventually moving into city limits. I was born in the late '80s on Summerfield Close, and my sister Danielle came not long after. I spent my childhood in and around Calgary and Airdrie, eventually graduating from Notre Dame High School.

After the loss of my mother in 2010, I found myself uncertain about my career path. I’d held many roles in my early years, but in May 2014, I was granted the opportunity to enroll in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Boatswain. I was posted to the west coast and deployed several times on a variety of international operations.

During my service, I met my incredible wife Dr. Leah Robinson while she was completing her degree at CMCC. She’s now a distinguished chiropractor here in town, specializing in pregnancy and pediatric care. Together, we’ve lived in several communities across Canada, and after the birth of our first daughter, Payton, we decided it was time to put down some permanent roots.

The prairies were calling and I was partial to coming home. After a short discussion, I transferred to Calgary. We promptly moved to Bayside with two cats and a new babyand we’ve never looked back. This new chapter has also brought us our second daughter, Piper, who arrived with a wild Stampede story of her own.

My various roles through service, life experience, marriage, and fatherhood have granted me a multitude of qualifications and insights that go far beyond certificates. These experiences have shaped my resilience, deepened my empathy, and sharpened my ability to lead, adapt, and connect with others. Whether navigating the complexities of family life or the demands of operations, I’ve cultivated a strong sense of purpose, integrity, and emotional intelligence that I bring to every challenge I face.
